Armstrong Valley Vineyard & Winery is very excited to be a part of the Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country. Our involvement in the Wine Country will greatly improve our exposure to new Hershey and Harrisburg customers and markets. We know we can be a great asset to the Wine Country, because our winery was brought to life from a farm dating back to 1769, having a great attraction to both history enthusiasts and wine lovers. We are also providing a venue for special events, like birthday parties, bridal showers, and even entire weddings. We are on track to create a “go to” destination for the Halifax area, and feel a great pride in our accomplishments thus far.

Having grown up in Hershey, I am so excited that this region is able to add excellent wine production to its long-standing association with tourism. With the launch of Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country, we have now officially become the complete destination package!

I consider myself to be somewhat of a wine connoisseur and rather picky when it comes to my choices. Thankfully, Central Pennsylvania is home to some excellent vineyards whose wines are quite good! What’s even better is that there are so many things to do in this region, which is an added benefit to having everything so centrally located. I am definitely living Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country, loving Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country!

Wine in Central Pennsylvania? Yup! The founders of Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country have not only struck gold in a region rich with wine-enthusiasts, but with vineyards who make wine exceptionally well. I am thrilled to be able to enjoy fine wine, in a beautiful setting…right in my backyard.

With Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country practically in your backyard, you don’t need to fly to California just to get your wine fix. Our region creates many unique wines that everyone should sample, and you get to support local businesses in the process.

For many years Nissley Vineyards and Winery Estate was the only winery close to the Hershey-Harrisburg area. It is exciting to have so many new wineries that this has now become wine country. We look forward to visitors making their own discoveries.

One of the most fascinating and precious qualities of wine is the “terroir,” the quality taste and aroma that comes from the soil, from the land in which the grapes are grown. We are blessed to have more and more local wines that share both quality and the special terroir of our region, which is why I am very excited about the Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country.

In a stressful, busy world, relaxing and laughing with your friends and family, while sampling local wine is a luxury. Many people travel to New York or Virginia or even as far as Napa Valley to sample American wine, but the vineyards of the Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country bring great wine to Central Pennsylvania.

It’s only fitting that our area should be able to offer both its residents and tourists something as colorful and interesting as the new Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country. The region’s blossoming wineries are an impressive addition to our local culture, and I’m excited by the collaboration between both new and established vineyards as well as what this means for wine lovers throughout the region. Cheers!

The Vineyard at Hershey helped launch the new Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country because of what it could do for the region’s growing wine industry. While many people know about the top-notch hotels, exquisite restaurants, and amazing attractions in the Hershey Harrisburg region, many do not yet know about the first-rate, handcrafted wines that wineries in this region are producing. We are excited to welcome locals and tourists alike to experience this new Wine Country!

I consider myself a wine enthusiast and I am fortunate enough to live in a region that is capable of growing grapes and producing great wines. Every year I am excited to visit the local wineries and taste the wines. There are several great wines that I believe are even competitive with some of the West Coast wines. I look forward to exploring the Hershey Harrisburg Wine Country during the Sweet Sensations event!
